A continual problem in the construction industry is how best to remove formworks and moulds once concrete has set.  The most effective method of ensuring easy removal is to apply a release agent to the formwork before concrete is poured.  There are several release agents available, however the majority of them are based on harsh petrochemicals which are unsafe for users and the environment.  Lanotec has developed a unique, lanolin-based release agent that is safe to use and highly effective.

Lanotec Release Agent

Release Agent is a water soluble concentrate and natural alternative to petrochemical release agents.   It is biodegradable, non toxic and non carcinogenic. Release Agent has the added benefit of being non-leaching, enabling formwork to be coated and left in the rain prior to use.
 
Uses:
  • Protect equipment, doors, windows and railings from concrete overspray
  • Create a moisture barrier for timberwork, extending timber life and reducing end-grain swelling
  • Lubricant and corrosion inhibitor for acrow jacks and fittings
  • Corrosion inhibitor for metal moulds

Lanotec General Purpose Liquid Lanolin

General Purpose Liquid Lanolin has all the same properties as Release Agent and is also non leaching and highly effective in corrosive environments.
 
Uses:
  • Protect powder coated windows and doors subject to concrete overspray
  • Eliminate adherence of concrete to surfaces and aid with the cleaning of work site and equipment

Lanotec Citra-Force

Perfect for cleaning up General Purpose, Citra-Force is a natural, concentrated, industrial strength cleaner and degreaser that utilises the key ingredient of citrus oil.  It is biodegradable and acts as an excellent general purpose cleaner.  For removing General Purpose, Citra-Force should be diluted at 10:1 with water.
